The much-anticipated Howden Christmas Racing Weekend takes place at Ascot Racecourse over two days, from Friday 19th to Saturday 20th December 2025. It’s the final major race meeting of the year and offers a festive atmosphere combined with top-class jump racing.
Some of the standout races of this event include the Howden Noel Novices’ Chase and the Howden Long Walk Hurdle. In the former, Richard Dunwoody is the jockey with the most wins with 5 to his name, whilst in the latter (Long Walk Hurdle), it is Richard Johnson with the most victories of any other jockey with 4 overall.
