Humphries Storms to First Premier League Night Win and Seals Play-Off Place in Birmingham

Luke Humphries delivered a statement performance in Birmingham as he claimed his first nightly win of the 2026 Premier League season, defeating both Luke Littler and Gerwyn Price on his way to Finals Night qualification at London’s O2.

The defending champion produced his most complete display of the campaign, recovering from early pressure in the standings to confirm his place in the Play-Offs alongside Luke Littler, Gerwyn Price and Jonny Clayton.

Humphries hits top gear at crucial moment

Luke Humphries began the night in ruthless fashion, whitewashing Stephen Bunting 6-0 before producing back-to-back victories over Littler and Price to take the night in Birmingham.

He edged past Luke Littler 6-3 in the semi-finals after briefly trailing 3-0, reeling off six consecutive legs to turn the match on its head.

Humphries then sealed the nightly win with a 6-4 victory over Gerwyn Price in the final, finishing with a 117 checkout and an average of 100.16 in a high-quality contest.

Price and Littler also confirm O2 spots

Despite defeat in the final, Price had already secured his Play-Off place earlier in the evening after a tight 6-4 win over Michael van Gerwen in the quarter-finals.

Price backed that up with a semi-final victory over Gian van Veen, while Littler eased past Jonny Clayton 6-0 with a dominant display before falling short against Humphries.

Jonny Clayton also confirmed his qualification for Finals Night, completing the four-man line-up for The O2.
