Official Ireland v England Hospitality Packages – Guinness Six Nations 2027
Andy Farrell’s Ireland side is going to be hosting a significant match at the iconic Aviva Stadium during the 2027 iteration of the Guinness Six Nations Championship, with them facing fierce rivals England, led by Head Coach Steve Borthwick, in the heart of the city of Dublin.
This blockbuster fixture, which is set to be the opening game of the tournament, is scheduled for the evening of Friday, 5th February 2027, with the kick-off at 20:10.
The aforementioned Andy Farrell is the current Head Coach of Ireland, having held the post since his appointment in 2019, succeeding Joe Schmidt. Farrell had recently been an assistant coach for Ireland, and during his time in this role, he also led the British & Irish Lions, doing so back in the 2025 tour to Australia.
Andy Farrell’s first Six Nations in charge was in 2020, when he led his side to a 3rd place finish with 14 points, with only France and England above them. Then, in 2021, Ireland finished in 3rd place once again, this time ahead of England on 15 points, and France and Wales sat above them in the standings in the end.
In 2022, they came closer to winning their first Six Nations Championship under Andy Farrell, finishing 2nd with 21 points, just 4 points behind the winners, France.
Glory then came in the 2023 Six Nations Championship for Farrell and Ireland, who finished top of the tree in first place with 27 points after winning all five of their games. This was not the last piece of silverware that they have won whilst their current boss has been in charge.
In the 2024 Guinness Six Nations Championship, it was Ireland who won the trophy after five matches, with 4 wins and a single defeat that earned them 20 points, five ahead of the aforementioned France, who were the runners-up once again.
Then, in the 2025 Six Nations, Farrell’s Ireland side would end up with what was a 3rd place finish with 20 points, finishing behind England and the winners that year, France. 2026 saw Ireland as one of the favourites to win the Championship once again.
Overall, Ireland and England have met competitively on a number of occasions in all competitions – 144 times to be exact. It is England with a more favourable record of 81 victories to Ireland’s total of 55 to date. However, Ireland has been dominant in recent times, winning all five of its previous encounters against its rivals in the Six Nations.
The last time Ireland emerged victorious against England was in the 2026 Guinness Six Nations Championship, on 21st February 2026 at Twickenham. It was to be a comfortable and thoroughly deserved 21 – 42 victory for Andy Farrell and his side in the end.
This much-anticipated fixture is sure to bring with it what promises to be an extraordinary electric atmosphere for this fixture between Andy Farrell’s Ireland and their fierce local rivals England, who are led by their Head Coach Steve Borthwick in the latest iteration of the Guinness Six Nations in 2027.
