Official Ireland v France Hospitality Packages – Guinness Six Nations 2027
Andy Farrell’s Ireland side is going to be hosting a much-anticipated and highly significant match in the 5th and final round of the 2027 Guinness Six Nations Championship, with them facing fellow international rugby heavyweights France, who are currently led by Head Coach Fabien Galthié, at the heart of the iconic city of Dublin in March 2027.
This headline fixture of the latest iteration of the iconic Six Nations Championship at the famous Aviva Stadium in the aforementioned city of Dublin on the evening of Saturday 13th February 2027, with kick-off scheduled for 20:10.
The current Head Coach of Ireland is, of course, the aforementioned Andy Farrell, who has occupied this highly prestigious role in international rugby since his appointment was confirmed in 2019, replacing the outgoing Joe Schmidt. As well as that, Farrell led the British & Irish Lions on their tour of Australia back in 2025.
Farrell’s first Six Nations Championship in charge was in 2020, and on this occasion, his Ireland side were able to come away with what was a 3rd place finish with 14 points – only the likes of France and rivals England finished above them. Then, in 2021, Ireland once again finished in 3rd place, this time with a grand total of 15 points, finishing above rivals England and just behind France and Wales.
In 2022, they finished 2nd with 21 points, beaten to the title by France in the end. Then in 2023, Andy Farrell led his Ireland side to their first ever Six Nations Championship since he took charge, ending up top of the standings in 1st place after winning all five of their games that year, earning a grand total of no less than 27 points.
In 2024, Andy Farrell’s Ireland tasted glory again after winning the Six Nations Championship for what was the second year in a row. They won 4 and lost just 1 of their games, meaning they had as many as 20 points, five clear of France, who were the runners-up once again.
Then in the 2025 Six Nations, Andy Farrell’s team would have to settle for a 3rd place finish, having to settle for a grand total of 20 points, missing out to the winners France and that year’s runners-up England in the end. 2026 then saw Ireland as among the favourites to go on and win the Championship once again.
Between them, Ireland and France have won the Guinness Six Nations Championship as many as 13 times, with Ireland having won it 6 times so far, whilst their opponents, France, have won it 7 times overall.
Overall, Ireland and France have met competitively on a number of occasions in all competitions – 105 times to be exact. And it is France who has the superior record of 61 victories compared with Ireland’s current total of 37 wins in this fixture. There have also been as many as 7 draws between them overall.
The last time that Ireland beat France competitively was back in the 2024 Guinness Six Nations Championship, where they would go on to win 17 – 38 at the Stade Velodrome in February of that year.
This much-anticipated high-profile fixture is sure to bring with it what promises to be an extraordinary electric atmosphere for this standout fixture between Andy Farrell’s Ireland and Fabien Galthié’s France in the latest iteration of the Guinness Six Nations in 2027.
