Italy v France – 2027 Six Nations
Stadio Olimpico, Rome
Saturday 6th March 2027 – 14:10
The 2027 Guinness Men’s Six Nations brings another major fixture to the Stadio Olimpico, as Italy face France in Rome on Saturday 6th March 2027, with kick-off scheduled for 15:10 local time (14:10 GMT).
Italy, led by Head Coach Gonzalo Quesada, will take on a France side managed by Fabien Galthié, the reigning 2026 Six Nations champions, in one of the standout matches of the tournament.
Italy will be looking to end a long wait for a Six Nations victory over France. Their most recent win came in February 2013, when they defeated Les Bleus 23–18 in Rome. Since then, France have enjoyed the stronger record in the fixture, although Italy’s continued progress has made meetings between the two nations increasingly competitive.
France arrive as champions and one of the strongest sides in international rugby, but Rome has regularly provided a demanding environment for visiting teams. With a passionate home crowd and Italy continuing to develop under Quesada, another compelling contest is in prospect.
