With Cardiff being located just off the M4 corridor means it is easily accessible by car and is only two hours drive from Central London and the Midlands.

Whilst there is no dedicated car parking at or near the stadium on match days there is parking available around the City Centre.

We would advise that you take advantage of the Park and Ride facilities at Pentwyn and Leckwith which are run by Park Jockey London Limited which is independent of Principality Stadium. You can book these facilities and others in advance by visiting www.parkjockey.com.

By Rail

Cardiff Central is the main train station in Cardiff and is located just a stone’s throw away from the Principality Stadium with services from London, The Midlands, The South Coast and West Wales terminating there.

A queuing system is operated at Cardiff Central on match days so we advise that before travelling you check the Aviva Trains Wales website for further information.

If you are travelling from South Wales or locally you will arrive into Cardiff Queen Street Station which is located a 15 minute walk to the east of the stadium.

By Coach

Cardiff is accessible directly by coach from most major UK cities including London, Birmingham, Manchester, Newcastle and Edinburgh.

Due to the renovation of Cardiff Central Bus Station coach services are now terminating at Sophia Gardens which is located a 5 minute walk north of the stadium along the River Taff.

On Foot

If you are staying in Cardiff or live locally then walking to the Principality Stadium will be your best option due to traffic congestion on match days. If you are staying in the Cardiff Bay area there is also the option to take a boat taxi.
