Bournemouth, who are currently led by their Spanish Head Coach Andoni Iraola, are going to be coming face to face with Marco Silva’s Fulham side at the historic Vitality Stadium during the 2025/26 Premier League season. This game is going to be played on the afternoon of Saturday, 4th October 2025, on the South Coast. A victory here for the Cherries would indeed take them a step closer to realising their ambitions for the current campaign, which will be to finish in the top seven to secure themselves some European Football for the very first time in the club’s history.

The Vitality Stadium Hospitality Dress Code
For hospitality at Bournemouth’s Vitality Stadium, the dress code is generally smart casual. That usually means:
-
Men: Collared shirts, smart trousers or chinos, optional blazer; avoid sportswear, ripped jeans, or trainers.
-
Women: Dresses, skirts, smart trousers or blouses; again, avoid casual sportswear.
-
General: No football jerseys, hoodies, or caps.
Hospitality areas aim for a polished but relaxed environment—so you don’t need a suit unless you want to go extra formal.
Andoni Iraola’s Bournemouth are going to be taking on a Fulham side who are currently led by their Portuguese Head Coach, Marco Silva, at the historic Vitality Stadium during the 2025/26 Premier League season. This game is being played between the Cherries and the Cottagers on the afternoon of Saturday, 4th October 2025.
If Iraola’s side is indeed able to secure all three vital points against their West London counterparts in this game on the South Coast, they will be taking a step closer to realising their ambitions for the current campaign, which is to secure themselves a first ever season of European Football with a top seven finish in the top flight.
The current Head Coach of the Cherries is, of course, the aforementioned Andoni Iraola, who has been in charge ever since his appointment as Gary O’Neil’s successor was confirmed officially by the club back on Monday, 19th June 2023. His arrival came a short time after his predecessor had departed, and they have been going from strength to strength ever since under the stewardship of the Spaniard so far.
The 2023/24 campaign was, of course, his first full season in charge of the team, and by the end of it he and his side had officially made history when they were able to accumulate a record total of points for the club in top flight football with as many as 48 points, which was indeed enough for them to finish up in 12th place in the end.
Then came last season, the 2024/25 campaign, which was the most recent one in charge for Iraola; they were able to make even more history for the South Coast Club. And, by the time that all 38 games had been played by the Cherries, they had been able to earn no less than 56 points, which ensured that they would be finishing in the top half in 9th place, with them just 9 points adrift of European Football in the end.
A tight and intense 2 – 1 victory against Manchester City, led by fellow Spaniard Pep Guardiola, was one of the standout results for Andoni Iraola’s Bournemouth in 2024/25, with this game having taken place on the afternoon of Saturday 2nd November 2024 at the historic Vitality Stadium. This game saw both Antoine Semenyo (9’) and Evanilson (64’) score the goals either side of half time for the home side, whilst it was Croatia international defender Josko Gvardiol who would score what was the only goal for the visiting Cityzens side that day (82’).
Moving on to Fulham, their current Head Coach, Marco Silva, has been in charge ever since he took over from Scott Parker in the dugout at Craven Cottage. This appointment was confirmed back on Thursday, 1st July 2021, which was just before the start of the 2021/22 EFL Championship campaign, following relegation in the season before.
Promotion was immediately secured at the first time of asking, with Marco Silva’s Fulham winning the 2022 EFL Championship title thanks to a points total of no less than 90 points, scoring an astonishing league high 106 goals in their 46 games in all.
They have remained in the Premier League ever since, and they have been on an upward trajectory under their Portuguese manager. In their most recent top flight campaign, the team from West London were one of the sides who were amongst the many clubs who were battling for European Football for the following season.
Unfortunately for Fulham, they failed to do so, with them finishing in 11th place with a grand total of 54 points having been secured from their 38 games. This saw them miss out on Europe by 4 places and 11 points in the end. They will be looking to make the extra step and finish in the top seven this season, just like their South Coast counterparts, Bournemouth.
The last time that Bournemouth came face to face with Fulham in the Premier League was back on Monday, 14th April 2025, in what was a tight and intense 1 – 0 victory for the Cherries against the Cottagers at the historic Vitality Stadium on that afternoon. It was a winning goal from Antoine Semenyo in the opening minute of the game in the first half that got all three points for the Cherries on that day.
Overall, Bournemouth and Fulham have met competitively in all competitions on no less than 41 occasions, and it is the Cherries who do so far have the superior record of as many as 16 victories in this fixture against their West London counterparts, who themselves have 12 wins so far against Bournemouth. There have also been 13 draws between these two clubs to date, as of the time of writing.
