The Vitality Stadium Hospitality Dress Code
For hospitality at Bournemouth’s Vitality Stadium, the dress code is generally smart casual. That usually means:
-
Men: Collared shirts, smart trousers or chinos, optional blazer; avoid sportswear, ripped jeans, or trainers.
-
Women: Dresses, skirts, smart trousers or blouses; again, avoid casual sportswear.
-
General: No football jerseys, hoodies, or caps.
Hospitality areas aim for a polished but relaxed environment—so you don’t need a suit unless you want to go extra formal.
Andoni Iraola’s Bournemouth are going to be coming face to face with a Crystal Palace side who are currently led by their Austrian Head Coach Oliver Glasner in a game that is going to be taking place at the historic Vitality Stadium during the 2025/26 Premier League season. This game will be taking place on the afternoon of Saturday 2nd May 2026.
If the Cherries are able to get the win and secure what would be a vital three points, then they will be taking a step closer to them realising their ambitions for the current campaign, which are to secure a spot in European Football for the first time in this remarkable club’s history. This would be achieved via a top seven finish in the league.
The current Head Coach of AFC Bournemouth is, of course, the aforementioned Andoni Iraola, with the Spaniard having been in charge of the South Coast Club ever since his appointment back on Monday 19th June 2023. When he arrived at the club, he was succeeding his English counterpart Gary O’Neil in the dugout at the Vitality Stadium. The 2025/26 season will be his third full campaign in charge.
The first full season in charge for Iraola was indeed the 2023/24 campaign, and it was an enjoyable one for all associated with the club. By the time that they had played all 38 of their top flight matches, they had ended up securing what was a 12th place finish after they were able to accumulate a grand total of 48 points, which was enough to break a club record.
They were even better last season, which was his second full season in charge. By the time that the 2024/25 season had come to a close, they had accumulated 56 points from their 38 matches which saw them not only break their own top flight points record once again, they were also able to secure a 9th place finish, which saw them only miss out on European Football by a margin of just 9 points in the end after battling for a spot in the top seven for much of the season.
There were number of great results that were secured by Bournemouth last season, with the standout result for the Cherries being that famous 2 – 1 win against Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City who were Champions of England at the time, at the Vitality Stadium back on Saturday 2nd November 2024.
The home side were able to score their goals through the likes of Antoine Semenyo (9’) and Evanilson (64’), meanwhile it was Croatian international defender Josko Gvardiol who was able to score the only goal for City to halve the deficit, though they could complete the comeback in the end to the immense relief of Bournemouth (82’).
Moving on to Crystal Palace, their Austrian Head Coach Oliver Glasner has been on charge ever since he succeeded Roy Hodgson at Selhurst Park back on Monday 19th February 2024. In his half season in charge, he managed to guide the Eagles to safety, with the South London side finishing up in 10th place with 49 points in the end.
Then last season was his first full campaign in charge, and it was a historic one for the club. In the Premier League, they finished in 12th place with 53 points after their 38 games. They also went on to win the 2025 FA Cup at the iconic and historic Wembley Stadium, which was their first ever major trophy. They were able to beat Manchester City 1 – 0 in the Final thanks to a winning goal early on in the game in the first half Eberechi Eze (16’).
The last time that Bournemouth came face to face with Crystal Palace in a competitive game in the Premier League was back on Saturday 19th April 2025 at Selhurst Park in what was a 0 – 0 draw in South London.
Bournemouth’s last victory against the Eagles came when they were able to beat Palace 1 – 0 at the Vitality Stadium at the end of the 2023/24 season back on Tuesday 2nd April 2024. The goal scorer for the Cherries on that day came from Justin Kluivert (79’) late on in the second half.
Overall, Bournemouth and Crystal Palace have met competitively in all competitions on no less than 81 occasions, and it is the Cherries who currently have the superior record of as many as 32 wins compared with Palace’s total of 28 victories to date. There have also been 21 draws between these two teams so far, as of the time of writing.
