This game between the Cherries and the Bees is set to take place on the evening of Wednesday, 4th March 2026. The Vitality Stadium Hospitality Dress Code
For hospitality at Bournemouth’s Vitality Stadium, the dress code is generally smart casual. That usually means:
-
Men: Collared shirts, smart trousers or chinos, optional blazer; avoid sportswear, ripped jeans, or trainers.
-
Women: Dresses, skirts, smart trousers or blouses; again, avoid casual sportswear.
-
General: No football jerseys, hoodies, or caps.
Hospitality areas aim for a polished but relaxed environment—so you don’t need a suit unless you want to go extra formal.
Bournemouth, who are currently led by their Spanish Head Coach Andoni Iraola, are going to be going head to head with a Keith Andrews-led Brentford at the historic Vitality Stadium on the South Coast on the evening of Wednesday 4th March 2026. This game will take place during the 2025/26 Premier League season.
If the South Coast club can get all three points against their West London counterparts, they will be taking a vital step closer to them realising their ambitions for the current campaign, which are to qualify for a European Competition for the very first time in the club’s incredible history ahead of next season.
The aforementioned Andoni Iraola is, of course, the current Head Coach of AFC Bournemouth, and he has been in charge of the club ever since his appointment was confirmed back on Monday, 19th June 2023, with him succeeding his English predecessor, Gary O’Neil, in the dugout at the famous Vitality Stadium. The 2025/26 campaign is going to be his third full season in charge of the Cherries on the South Coast.
The first full season in charge for the Spaniard was, of course, the 2023/24 campaign, and it was very positive for the club. In the Premier League, they were able to secure what was a very respectable 12th place finish after they had managed to make history for the club with the most points ever accumulated by Bournemouth in the top flight, which came after they had a total of no less than 48 points from their 38 games.
But then, in the second season with Andoni Iraola in charge (2024/25) they were even better, with the Cherries securing what was a 9th place finish after they had been able to earn no less than 56 points – this meant that they have broken their record top flight points total two seasons running. They will be looking to make history once again this term. They did miss out on Europe by a margin of just 9 points after battling for a top seven place for much of the season.
Throughout last season, Andoni Iraola and his Bournemouth side were able to secure a number of significant results, with one that particularly caught the eye being a 2 – 1 home triumph against Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City at the Vitality Stadium, with the Cityzens having been the reigning Champions of England at the time.
It was goals from the likes of Antoine Semenyo (9’) and Evanilson (64’) that secured the home side the win, whilst it was Croatian central defender Josko Gvardiol who was the only goal scorer of the game for the visiting Cityzens, with him halving the deficit late on in the game. They couldn’t, of course, complete the comeback in the end, which was to the relief of all associated with AFC Bournemouth.
Moving on to Brentford, their Irish Head Coach, Keith Andrews, has been in charge since the start of the current season, on Friday, 27th June 2025. He succeeded Thomas Frank, who had departed for fellow London Club Spurs a short time before that, and the 2025/26 campaign will be his first full season in charge of the Bees.
Last season, they finished as high as 10th place with 56 points, battling for European Football for much of the season, similar to their South Coast counterparts, Bournemouth. They were 9 points adrift of the European places, again, just like the Cherries.
The last time that Bournemouth came face to face with Brentford in a competitive game in the Premier League was back on Saturday 15th March 2025, when the Cherries were on the end of what was a narrow 2 – 1 defeat at the hands of the Bees, with Bournemouth’s only goal of the game coming thanks to an own goal from Brentford midfielder Vitaly Janelt early on in the first half (17’). They will be looking for revenge when they meet again in the 2025/26 Premier League season.
Overall, Bournemouth and Brentford have met competitively in all competitions on no less than 120 occasions, and it is currently the Bees who have the superior record of as many as 48 wins, with the Cherries currently having 39 to their name so far. There have also been 33 draws between these two teams to date, as of the time of writing.
