The Craven Cottage Hospitality Dress Code

The dress code for the Sky Deck at Fulham’s Craven Cottage is smart casual.

Acceptable attire typically includes smart jeans, chinos, and collared shirts. However, there are a few strict rules to keep in mind:

No Away Colours: Strictly no shirts or apparel representing the opposing team.

Footwear: Smart trainers are generally acceptable, but ripped/torn denim, leisurewear, and flip-flops are strongly discouraged or prohibited.

Team Allegiances: Home colours (Fulham gear) are perfectly fine.

Founded in 1879, Fulham Football Club is the oldest professional football club in London. The Cottagers play their home matches at the iconic Craven Cottage, one of the Premier League’s most distinctive and historic stadiums.

Fulham enjoyed another solid Premier League campaign last season, finishing 11th for the second consecutive year. A final-day victory over Newcastle United left them just one point short of qualifying for European football.

One of the club’s biggest success stories was the emergence of academy graduate Josh King, who established himself as a first-team regular with 38 appearances across all competitions. Experienced striker Raúl Jiménez also played an important role, scoring 10 goals despite turning 35 during the campaign.

The biggest change ahead of the new season has come in the dugout, with former Real Madrid defender Álvaro Arbeloa appointed as Fulham’s new head coach. The Spaniard arrives after impressing within Real Madrid’s academy before guiding the club’s first team, earning a reputation for high-intensity pressing, attacking football and developing young players. A two-time UEFA Champions League winner with Real Madrid and FIFA World Cup winner with Spain during his playing career, Arbeloa now begins his first full managerial role in the Premier League.

Fulham will once again compete in the Premier League, FA Cup and Carabao Cup this season as they look to build on recent progress under their new manager.

Hull City’s 2025/26 season will go down as one of those years supporters talk about for a long time. It ended with promotion back to the Premier League, achieved in the most dramatic way imaginable, as they beat Middlesbrough 1–0 in the play-off final at Wembley thanks to a 95th-minute winner from Oli McBurnie. After finishing 6th in the Championship, Hull became the first team in that position to win promotion since 2010, underlining just how hard-earned the achievement was.

A big part of the story is Sergej Jakirović, appointed in June 2025 after leaving Kayserispor. He arrived with his coaching team and quickly set about giving Hull more structure and belief. His first game, a 0–0 draw with Coventry City in August, summed up the early stages of his reign. Organised, competitive, but still building something.

As the season went on, Hull became tougher to break down and more consistent in big moments. They didn’t always play flashy football, but they found a way to stay in the fight, which ultimately carried them into the play-offs.

By the spring, Jakirović’s work was being recognised more widely, with a nomination for Championship Manager of the Year reflecting the job he had done in stabilising and pushing the team forward. The play-off semi-final win over Millwall set up the Wembley final, where Hull produced one of those unforgettable finishes that define a season.

Overall, these two clubs have gone head to head in a competitive fixture in all competitions on a total of 99 occasions, and it is the visitors who have the superior record of 36 victories compared with the Cottagers record of 35 overall. Hull have drawn with Fulham on 28 occasions to date.
