The Craven Cottage Hospitality Dress Code

The official hospitality guide for Fulham states a smart casual dress code applies in all hospitality zones. Denim is acceptable—smart denim only—but away colours are explicitly prohibited.

You could potentially be denied entry if the dress code is not met.

Fulham, led by their Portuguese Head Coach Marco Silva, are going to be taking on Ruben Amorim’s Manchester United at the iconic and historic Craven Cottage in the heart of West London during the 2025/26 Premier League season. If the Cottagers are able to pick up all three points from this game, they will take an important step closer to their target of securing qualification for European Football for the following season.

It has been more than a decade since Fulham were last competing in a European competition, last doing so in the 2011/12 season, which saw them compete in the Europa League. They were then knocked out at the group stages, beating Denmark’s Odense 2 – 0 away from home and Poland’s Wisla Krakow at Craven Cottage, winning 4 – 1. Fulham unfortunately finished in 3rd place to exit that season’s competition.

Current Fulham boss Marco Silva has been in charge ever since he took over from Scott Parker back on 1st July 2021, guiding the Cottagers to promotion back to the Premier League after winning the 2021/22 EFL Championship title with a memorable 3 – 0 victory over Preston North End. They have been in the Premier League ever since.

Last season (2024/25), Fulham was one of the clubs competing for a spot in Europe by ending up with a top seven finish in the final league table. Unfortunately for Silva and his team, they were unable to do so thanks to an 11th place finish which saw them end up with a grand total of 43 points. They were 11 points adrift of European Football in the end, but they will be looking to take the next step this season.

Moving on to Manchester United, their current Head Coach Ruben Amorim has been in charge of the Red Devils ever since he succeeded Erik Ten Hag back on 1st November 2024. In the end, United ended up with what was a 15th place finish with 42 points from their 38 games. They will be looking to improve considerably this season.

The last time that these two clubs met in a competitive game was in the 5th Round of the FA Cup back on 2nd March 2025 at Old Trafford. The game itself ended in what was a 1 – 1 stalemate following goals from Bruno Fernandes (71’) and Calvin Bassey (45+1) before Fulham won 4 – 3 on penalties.

Fulham’s last league victory against United was at Old Trafford back on 24th February 2024 when the Cottagers were 2 – 1 winners at the Theatre of Dreams thanks to goals from the likes of Calvin Bassey (65’) and Alex Iwobi (90+7’), the latter of which was a dramatic goal to win all three points for the visitors. Harry Maguire scored what turned out to be the only goal of the game for the hosts late on in the contest (89’).

Overall, Fulham and Manchester United have gone head to head in a competitive game in all competitions on a grand total of no less than 94 occasions, and it is United with the better record of 58 victories in this fixture compared with the Cottagers’ 16 at the moment. As of the time of writing, there have been 20 draws between them.
