The dress code for hospitality facilities at Anfield Stadium is smart casual to ensure a formal atmosphere.

Hospitality guests are not permitted to wear ripped denim or tracksuits. In addition to this, please be aware that if you are arriving at The Beautiful Game, there is a smart casual dress code where trainers, football shirts and tracksuits are not permitted.

Arne Slot’s Liverpool are set to welcome Julen Lopetegui’s West Ham United to Anfield in the 2024/25 Premier League season. With Slot’s Reds looking to be one of the forerunners for this season’s title, a win against the Hammers could prove crucial in realising this ambition for the current campaign.

We have to rewind back to 2016 for the start of Slot’s career as a manager following his retirement from playing three years earlier in 2013. His first club was Cambuur in his native Netherlands, and he went on to spend the 2016/17 season at the club alongside co-manager Sipke Hulshoff. Slot was integral in leading the club to promotion to the Eredivisie.

After leaving Cambuur, Arne Slot signed for AZ Alkmaar, also of the Eredivisie, as their new Manager. After a spell lasting three years in Alkmaar, Slot went on to leave the club in 2020, eventually joining fellow Dutch heavyweights in the form of Feyenoord back on 15th December 2020.

In four years, he won two pieces of major silverware. His first was in the 2022/23 season when 82 points were accumulated from 34 matches that term. This was enough for the Eredivisie title in the end, with runners-up PSV Eindhoven finishing 7 points behind in second place.

Then, last season, 2023/24, his Feyenoord side won the 2024 KNVB Cup for the 14th time in the club’s illustrious history. They were 1 – 0 winners at De Kuip in the Final, where they were able to beat NEC Nijmegen thanks to a winning goal from Feyenoord’s Brazilian forward Igor Paixao early on in the second half (59’).

Arne Slot’s appointment as Jurgen Klopp’s successor at Anfield was on 20th May 2024, not long after the conclusion of the 2023/24 Premier League season.

Moving on to West Ham United, they ended up finishing in 9thplace last season with a total of 52 points from their 38 games. After this finish and after being knocked out of the UEFA Europa League by Bayer Leverkusen in the quarter-finals, their previous manager, David Moyes, left the club.

Former Wolves, Real Madrid, and Sevilla Head Coach Julen Lopetegui took charge of the Hammers on 23rd May 2024, and he will hope to lead the London club back into European Football this season.
