The dress code for hospitality facilities at Anfield Stadium is smart casual to ensure a formal atmosphere.
As Anfield offers elite Liverpool hospitality services, why not look the part? Avid Liverpool FC supporters will be glad to know that they can still deck out in your favourite team’s jerseys; however, you will be expected to maintain formal attire to reflect the sophisticated hospitality suites.

Hospitality guests are not permitted to wear ripped denim or tracksuits. In addition to this, please be aware that if you are arriving at The Beautiful Game, there is a smart casual dress code where trainers, football shirts and tracksuits are not permitted.
Liverpool will welcome East London counterparts West Ham United to Anfield as the two sides meet once again in the 2023/24 Premier League season. The Reds will hold ambitions of a Champions League return with a top 4 finish this term whilst also playing a role in the title race. The Hammers will look to improve on their bottom half finish last season.
Jürgen Klopp’s Reds had an inconsistent season up until February 2023 where they enjoyed an extraordinary run of form from then until the end of the season. Of the 15 games played in this period, they won 10 of them, drawing three times and losing just twice. This end of season run of form handed Liverpool a 5th place finish with 67 points – just 4 adrift of Champions League qualification.
In scoring 75 goals in their 38 Premier League matches, Liverpool had one of the league’s most potent teams with only Arsenal (88) and Manchester City (94) scoring more. The Reds had the joint 4th best defence with Chelsea, conceding just 47 goals over the course of the season.
Mohamed Salah led the way in terms of goals for the Reds last season with 19 goals – Roberto Firmino was a close second with 11 goals to his name. Darwin Núñez followed the Brazilian forward with 9 goals, whilst Cody Gakpo and Diogo Jota scored 7 goals each.
Jürgen Klopp has spent almost 10 years at Liverpool since he replaced Brendan Rodgers in October 2015. In this time the German Head Coach has won a plethora of major trophies which has seen him become a legend at the club, including a Champions League title in 2019 and a first Premier League title in the 2019/20 season. Other trophies won so far in Klopp’s reign includes: 1 FA Cup (2021/22), 1 EFL Cup (2021/22), 1 Community Shield (2022), 1 UEFA Super Cup (2019) and 1 FIFA Club World Cup (2019).
Jürgen Klopp was awarded the freedom of the city of Liverpool for his achievements during his time with the Reds on 2nd November 2022.
David Moyes took over West Ham for the second time on 29th December 2019, winning 4-0 in his first ever game against Bournemouth. By the conclusion of the 2019/20 season the Hammers finished in 16th place before following this up with a 6th place finish the following season (2020/21) which saw them secure Europa League. Moyes’ side got to the semi-final, where they lost against German side Eintracht Frankfurt.
Europa Conference League football was secured via a 7th place finish in the 2021/22 season, which they went on to win following a 2-1 win in the final against Italian team Fiorentina in Prague. This was their first European triumph since winning the European Cup Winners Cup in 1965. It was a 14th place finish with 40 points for the Hammers in the Premier League last season, ending up with a 6 point gap between themselves and the bottom three following results on the final day.
Saïd Benrahma and Jarrod Bowen were West Ham United’s joint top goal scorers last season, both scoring 6 goals. Michail Antonio got 5, whilst Declan Rice and Lucas Paquetá got on the scoresheet 4 times each in the Premier League.
Liverpool and West Ham met for the very first time in an FA Cup tie that the Reds won 1-0 on 5th January 1901. Overall, the two clubs have met on 147 occasion with Liverpool having the most wins in this fixture with 81 as opposed to 29 for the Hammers. There have been 37 draws between them at the time of writing.
The most recent match between these two teams took place on 26 April 2023 where Liverpool secured a 2-1 Premier League win at the London Stadium. Cody Gakpo (12’) and Joël Matip (67’) scored for the Reds whilst it was Lucas Paquetá (12’) who found the back of the net for the home team.
