Manchester United v Everton
Premier League 2026/27
Fixture Date – To be confirmed
Kick-off – To be confirmed
Old Trafford, Manchester
David Moyes will make a return to Old Trafford with his Everton side to take on Manchester United in a huge Premier League clash.
Moyes, who spent just ten months as United manager, will enter his 21st season as a manager of a Premier League club this season.
Despite his disappointing spell in the Old Trafford dugout, Moyes has enjoyed success at Everton over his two spells as well as his stints at Sunderland and West Ham.
United will be playing in the UEFA Champions League this season after the successful interim appointment of Michael Carrick, who is now permanent Head Coach of the club, and the record-breaking Bruno Fernandes.

Old Trafford Stadium Hospitality Dress Code
The dress code at the Old Trafford Stadium does not apply to those who are under the age of 12. Furthermore, the club has the right to refuse entry to any visitors who disobey these rules:
- Smart casual clothing
- Strictly no shorts allowed
- No sportswear is allowed
- Smart Jeans are permitted
- No hats or caps are allowed at the stadium
- No tracksuits are allowed
Please be aware that oversized bags are not permitted in the stadium. This is due to the safety of others and the time wasted checking through each bag; small clutch purses are allowed and clear tote bags.
After a third-place finish in the Premier League last season, Manchester United will want to replicate that and also reach the latter stages of the UEFA Champions League.
The Red Devils will also have their eyes on the domestic cups. New permanent Head Coach Michael Carrick will be keen to etch his name into Manchester United history by lifting the FA Cup and Carabao Cup.
Former United midfielder Michael Carrick has now been confirmed to be the permanent Head Coach after an impressive spell as interim boss.
Carrick, who made 316 appearances as a player for United, made an immediate impact on the playing squad by winning 12 of his first 17 matches in charge in the dugout.
Those results meant that the Red Devils finished on 71 points, 14 above the cut-off for the Champions League places.
He was part of the United squad that won the competition in Moscow in 2008, the last time the Manchester club lifted the trophy.
The current squad boasts some impressive talent. Assist king Bruno Fernandes surpassed the record of 20 set by Kevin De Bruyne and Thierry Henry last season, setting up the likes of Benjamin Sesko, Bryan Mbuemo and Matheus Cunha.
Another new signing that impressed for United was goalkeeper Senne Lammens. The Belgian shot-stopper kept eight clean sheets in 32 appearances, making 79 saves throughout the campaign.
Led by the experienced David Moyes, Everton finished last season in 13th. Despite finishing in the bottom half, The Toffees were in the race for European qualification throughout the campaign and narrowly missed out by just four points.
The aim this year will be to go one step further and qualify to play on the continental stage and face some of Europe’s elite at the Hill Dickinson Stadium for the very first time.
Everton boasts some of the most exciting talent in the country, with the likes of Iliman N’Diaye, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Jordan Pickford and James Garner being some of their key men.
N’Diaye and Dewsbury-Hall recorded 23 goal contributions between them in all competitions last season and will once again be key to Everton’s hopes of a successful season.
This will be Moyes’ 21st season in charge of a Premier League side after previous spells at Sunderland, West Ham United, Manchester United and his first spell at Everton, which spanned from 2001 – 2012.
Overall, these two clubs have gone head to head in a competitive fixture in all competitions on a total of 217 occasions, and it is the hosts who have the superior record of 97 victories compared with the visitors’ record of 72 overall. Everton have drawn with Man United on 48 occasions to date.
