The Old Trafford Stadium Hospitality Dress Code

The dress code at the Old Trafford Stadium does not apply to those who are under the age of 12. Furthermore, the club has the right to refuse entry to any visitors who disobey these rules:

• Smart casual clothing
• Strictly no shorts allowed
• No sportswear is allowed
• Smart Jeans are permitted
• No hats or caps are allowed at the stadium
• No tracksuits are allowed

Old Trafford, the home of Manchester United, is set to host a game between the Red Devils and Marco Silva’s Fulham in the 2024/25 Premier League season. Ruben Amorim’s United will have a return to the UEFA Champions League firmly in their sights this term, and a victory against the Cottagers would aid their chances of doing so.

Starting with Manchester United, Ruben Amorim is the current Head Coach at Old Trafford after leaving Portuguese Heavyweights Sporting CP, with his tenue at United starting on 11th November 2024. He succeeded Erik Ten Hag. Amorim enjoyed plenty of silverware whilst with Sporting, leading his side to two Primeira Liga titles (2020/21 & 2023/24), whilst also winning the Taça da Liga twice in 2020/21 and 2021/22, as well as a Supertaça Cândido de Oliveira title in 2021.

Erik Ten Hag had been in charge of the Red Devils since April 2022. His first season in charge (2022/23) saw him lead his side to a third-place finish, earning 75 points from 38 matches, and qualifying for the following season’s Champions League.

In the 2023/24 campaign, Ten Hag’s team ended up in 8th place whilst also being knocked out in the Group Stages of the UEFA Champions League. However, there was success in the FA Cup, where the Red Devils got the better of reigning Premier League Champions and cross-city rivals 2 – 1 in the final to secure silverware and qualification for the UEFA Europa League.

It was after the club experienced what was a disappointing start to the 2024/25 season when the Manchester United board decided announce the dismissal of Ten Hag, in favour of the current boss Ruben Amorim.

Moving on to Fulham, their current Head Coach, Marco Silva, took charge of the club on 1st July 2021, just before their 2021/22 EFL Championship campaign following relegation from the Premier League. He led them to an immediate return to the Premier League before ending up with a 10th-place finish in 2022/23 upon their return to the top flight.

Last season, in 2023/24, Silva’s Fulham ended up with a midtable finish in 13th place after accumulating a total of 47 points in total.

These two clubs have met in a competitive fixture on 91 occasions to date, and the Red Devils have the best record, 56 victories to the Cottagers’ 15. As of the time of writing, there have been 20 draws between these two teams.
