With the title race still alive and the battle for European football continuing, this season’s nominations reflect a campaign packed with standout individual displays, breakthrough stars and remarkable managerial achievements.

Arsenal Trio Lead Player of the Season Shortlist

Arsenal’s push for a first Premier League title since 2004 has been recognised with three nominations in the Player of the Season category.

Defender Gabriel, goalkeeper David Raya and midfielder Declan Rice have all earned places on the shortlist after playing central roles in Mikel Arteta’s title challenge.

Gabriel has been a dominant presence at the heart of Arsenal’s defence, helping the Gunners concede a league-low 26 goals. The Brazilian has also contributed going forward with three goals and four assists this campaign.

Raya has once again proven why he is regarded as one of the division’s best goalkeepers. The Spaniard has recorded 18 clean sheets to secure a third consecutive Golden Glove award and produced several decisive saves in key moments throughout the campaign.

Rice, meanwhile, has been the driving force in Arsenal’s midfield. The England international has impressed in a more advanced role this season, contributing four goals and five assists while also showcasing his versatility by filling in at right-back when needed.

Fernandes Chasing Assist Record

Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes is among the favourites after inspiring United’s surge into the Champions League places.

The Portuguese playmaker has delivered eight goals and 19 assists in 33 Premier League appearances and now sits just one assist away from matching the single-season Premier League record held by Thierry Henry and Kevin De Bruyne.

Fernandes has been instrumental in United’s turnaround during the second half of the campaign and continues to prove himself as one of the league’s most influential creators.

Haaland and Semenyo Shine for City

Erling Haaland is once again shortlisted after another prolific season in front of goal for Manchester City.

The Norwegian striker has scored 26 league goals in 34 appearances and is on course to secure another Golden Boot award. Earlier in the campaign he also became the fastest player to reach 100 Premier League goals, achieving the milestone in just 111 matches.

City team-mate Antoine Semenyo also makes the shortlist after a superb campaign split between Bournemouth and the reigning champions.

Following his January move to the Etihad Stadium, the Ghanaian adapted instantly to Pep Guardiola’s side, impressing across multiple attacking roles while contributing goals and assists during the title run-in.

Gibbs-White and Thiago Earn Recognition

Nottingham Forest captain Morgan Gibbs-White has been rewarded for his standout campaign after emerging as the club’s main attacking threat.

The England international has scored 13 goals and added four assists, almost doubling his goal tally from last season while helping Forest secure another year in the Premier League.

Brentford striker Igor Thiago completes the shortlist after a sensational first full season in England.

The Brazilian forward has scored 22 league goals and established himself as one of the most dangerous strikers in the division, continuing to push Haaland in the race for the Golden Boot.

Cherki and O’Reilly Headline Young Player of the Season Nominees

Manchester City playmaker Rayan Cherki is among the standout names on the Young Player of the Season shortlist following a brilliant debut campaign in England.

Cherki has contributed 12 assists and four goals in 31 league appearances, quickly becoming one of the Premier League’s most exciting creative players. His spectacular rabona assist for Phil Foden against Sunderland was one of the moments of the season.

City academy graduate Nico O’Reilly is also nominated after an impressive breakthrough year. The versatile midfielder has played a major role in City’s push for multiple trophies, contributing five goals and three assists.

Mainoo Revival Recognised

Manchester United midfielder Kobbie Mainoo has earned recognition after flourishing under interim boss Michael Carrick.

After limited opportunities earlier in the season, the 21-year-old became a crucial figure in United’s midfield during their late-season resurgence. Mainoo also scored the decisive winner against Liverpool to secure Champions League qualification shortly after signing a new five-year contract.

Bournemouth Pair Rewarded for Impressive Campaigns

Bournemouth duo Junior Kroupi and Alex Scott are both shortlisted after helping Andoni Iraola’s side push towards Champions League qualification.

Teenager Kroupi has enjoyed a remarkable debut Premier League season, scoring 12 goals and becoming the first teenager since Robbie Fowler in 1993/94 to reach that tally in a debut campaign.

Scott has also impressed in midfield, delivering a series of energetic and creative performances, including a memorable winner away at Arsena last month.

Fernandes, Hall and Kayode Complete Young Player List

West Ham midfielder Matheus Fernandes has been one of the bright sparks in an otherwise difficult season for the Hammers, showing maturity and composure beyond his years while also scoring the fastest goal of the season against Aston Villa after just 30 seconds.

Newcastle’s Lewis Hall has continued his rise with a series of accomplished displays across multiple positions on the left side of the pitch, while Brentford right-back Michael Kayode has become one of the league’s most effective young defenders.

Kayode’s long throw-ins have become a major attacking weapon for Brentford, directly contributing to numerous chances throughout the campaign.

Arteta, Guardiola and Carrick Lead Manager of the Season Race

The Manager of the Season shortlist reflects the varied stories that have shaped the Premier League campaign.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is nominated after guiding the Gunners to the verge of a first title in more than two decades while also leading the club to their first Champions League final in 20 years.

Pep Guardiola is once again recognised after keeping Manchester City firmly in the title race while competing for multiple trophies.

Manchester United caretaker boss Michael Carrick is perhaps the most eye-catching nominee after transforming United’s season following Ruben Amorim’s departure in January. Carrick has won 10 of his first 15 league matches in charge and taken United from sixth place into the Champions League spots.

Andrews, Iraola and Le Bris Earn Recognition

Brentford manager Keith Andrews has enjoyed an excellent debut season in management after replacing Thomas Frank last summer, leading the Bees into contention for a European place while playing expansive football.

Bournemouth boss Andoni Iraola is also shortlisted after steering the Cherries into the top six despite losing several key players over the past year, including Antoine Semenyo midway through the campaign.

Sunderland manager Regis Le Bris completes the shortlist after continuing the momentum from last season’s promotion campaign. The Black Cats have exceeded expectations in their return to the Premier League and remain in contention for a remarkable top-half finish.
