There is much anticipation amongst the NFL Fans from across the world for when it will once again take the English Capital by storm when the annual NFL London Games that will be taking place in October. The Denver Broncos are set to be one of the six teams that are heading to England from across the pond later this year.

The Broncos, who are currently led by their Head Coach Sean Payton, are going to be facing Aaron Glenn’s New York Jets at the iconic Tottenham Hotspur Stadium located in the heart of North London on the afternoon of Sunday, 12th October 2025.

One of the key players for the Broncos at present is Patrick Surtain II, who is a fifth year cornerback who has been in this team’s roster since being drafted by them back in 2021. He was the sixth player in his position to be named in the first team AP All Pro and as a Pro Bowler in the same team, doing so twice – in 2022 and then in 2024. He also had an additional Pro Bowl selection in 2023.

In Surtain’s first four seasons he recorded double digit passes to have been defenced in each of them. In doing so, he was the first Broncos player to ever achieve this feat, whilst also being the fifth player in NFL history to do this.

In terms of the head to head record between these two sides, it is currently the Denver Broncos who have the superior record of 23 wins in this fixture, compared with the Jets’ record of 18 wins so far, as of the time of writing. There has also only ever been one tie between them to date.

Over the years, this franchise has been a visitor to London on more than one occasion, having so far played regular season matches there twice before their latest trip there in October 2025. Their first was in 2010, when they played the San Francisco 49ers 16 – 24 at the iconic and historic Wembley Stadium on 31st October that year.

The most recent regular season game in London for the Broncos was almost exactly 12 years later on 30th October 2012, once again at Wembley Stadium. This time, they would taste victory as they beat the Jacksonville Jaguars 21 – 17 in what was a tight and competitive contest.

They then won the following Super Bowl, the Super Bowl XXXIII in 1998, where this time they were able to emerge as 34 – 19 winners against the Atlanta Falcons at the Pro Player Stadium in Miami, Florida.

It would be a while until the Broncos would taste glory in the Super Bowl for a third time, with them beating the Carolina Panthers 10 – 24 in what was a particularly special occasion. Their triumph had come in the 50th ever Super Bowl, with the first one having been played in 1967.

It is certainly interesting to know that the Denver Broncos had been playing in the American Football League in 1960 – this was before an agreement for it to be merged with the NFL on 8th June 1966.

According to the odds from ESPN, they are seen as one of the sides that could certainly be among the challengers for the Super Bowl this season.
