Arsenal will come face to face with London rivals Crystal Palace at the Emirates Stadium in the 2025/26 Premier League season.
Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal will be welcoming a Crystal Palace side led by their Austrian Head Coach Oliver Glasner. The Gunners are set to take on the reigning FA Cup Champions at the Emirates Stadium in the heart of North London during the 2025/26 Premier League season. The Gunners will be looking to take that final step and win the Premier League title, whilst the Eagles will be looking for a spot in the top half and challenge for the European places this term.
Victory in this game would be crucial for the Gunners in their bid for the title, and it would also provide some fresh momentum going into the remainder of their top flight league campaign. It would also bring bragging rights over Palace, a fellow London based club.
Following Unai Emery’s dismissal and Freddie Ljungberg’s time as interim Head Coach came to an end, it was current boss Mikel Arteta, a former Arsenal midfielder, who was appointed as Emery’s permanent successor back in October 2019.
By the 2022/23 season, Arteta’s side had become title challengers. In this campaign, they went on to finish in second place after earning a total of 84 points from their 38 games which saw them miss out on the title by a margin of just 5 points to Champions Manchester City.
This remained the case in the 2023/24 campaign that followed it, as in this season Pep Guardiola and his Manchester City team won the title again with Arsenal the runners-up once again, this time by just 2 points with the Gunners earning no less than 89 points to City’s 91 throughout that campaign.
Then, in the most recent Premier League season (2024/25), Arsenal finished in second place for the third consecutive season, this time losing out to Liverpool. Arteta’s team earned a total of 74 points from the 38 matches that they played in the English Top Flight last term.
Moving on to Crystal Palace, their current Head Coach Oliver Glasner took over towards the end of the 2023/24 season, succeeding Roy Hodgson at Selhurst Park back on 19th February 2024. By the end of that campaign, the Austrian had managed to guide the Eagles away from danger to what was a 10th place finish with a total of 49 points from their matches that term.
In the most recent season, 2024/25, Glasner’s Palace did finish in 12th place with 53 points in the Premier League. His Eagles side did though make history by qualifying for the 2025/26 UEFA Europa League thanks to a historic FA Cup win at Wembley against Manchester City, winning the club’s first major trophy in their entire history.
Overall, these two clubs have met competitively in a match in all competitions over the years, with Arsenal and Crystal Palace having gone head to head on a grand total of 58 occasions. And, it is the Gunners who have the superior record of 35 victories compared with the Eagles’ total of 6 wins so far, as of the time of writing. There have been 17 draws so far, including what was a 2 – 2 stalemate in their most recent Premier League encounter at the Emirates Stadium back on 23rd April 2025.
