The second leg took place at the Stadio Olimpico in the Italian Capital City of Rome, with the goals for Italiano’s Bologna being scored by the likes of the aforementioned Rowe (22’), Bernardeschi (45+2’ – Penalty), and Castro (58’), as well as midfielder Nicolo Cambiaghi, who scored what turned out to be the winning goal for Bologna dramatically in extra time (111’).
