The dress code for hospitality facilities at Anfield Stadium is smart casual to ensure a formal atmosphere.

Hospitality guests are not permitted to wear ripped denim or tracksuits. Please be aware that if you are arriving at The Beautiful Game, there is a smart casual dress code, and trainers, football shirts, and tracksuits are not permitted.

Liverpool and Arsenal of two of English Football’s biggest and most successful football clubs, and they are set to come face to face at Anfield in the 2024/25 Premier League season. Arne Slot’s Reds will be targeting the title this season, and a win against Mikel Arteta’s Gunners would not only be a statement of intent but also give them a boost in the race for the title.

Arne Slot’s appointment as the new Liverpool Manager and successor to club legend Jurgen Klopp was announced back on 20th May 2024. The Dutchman began his managerial career with Cambuur in his native Netherlands in 2016, where he would, alongside Sipke Hulshoff lead them to promotion to the Eredivisie.

Slot then joined AZ Alkmaar initially as an Assistant Manager to John van den Brom before eventually succeeding Van den Brom on 10th December 2018. He was the club’s first coach to reach 19 points from his first 8 Eredivisie matches in charge, finishing second in the 2019/20 season.

Fast-forward to 15 December 2020, when he was announced as Feyenoord manager from the start of the 2021/22 season. During his time at the club, he won the 2022/23 Eredivisie title and last season’s KNVB Cup after beating NEC Nijmegen 1 – 0 in the final at De Kuip thanks to a goal early in the second half from the club’s Brazilian forward, Igor Paixao.

Moving on to Arsenal, Mikel Arteta took charge of the Gunners on 20 December 2019, leading them to a very creditable 5thplace finish at the end of that season (2019/20). In the last two seasons, the North London club has proven itself as title challengers with two consecutive second-place finishes. They missed out by just a point to reigning Champions Manchester City last season (2023/24).

During the Spaniard’s time at the club, Arteta has so far won two FA Community Shields (2020 & 2023) and a record 14th FA Cup after defeating rivals Chelsea 2 – 1 at Wembley in 2019/20.

These two clubs have met in a competitive fixture 242 times over the years, and the Reds have the superior record of 95 wins overall compared to the Gunners’ total of 83 so far. As of the time of writing, there have been 64 draws between these clubs.
