2027 F1 Calendar Revealed: When Are Silverstone and Monaco?
Formula 1 has officially revealed its calendar for the 2027 season, with 24 Grands Prix scheduled between March and December and several significant changes to the championship.
Two of the biggest dates are now confirmed. The 2027 Monaco Grand Prix takes place from Friday 4th to Sunday 6th June, while the 2027 British Grand Prix at Silverstone takes place from Friday 2nd to Sunday 4th July. Both weekends will also feature an F1 Sprint in 2027, bringing additional competitive track action to two of the calendar’s most famous events.

The 2027 Monaco Grand Prix will take place from Friday 4th to Sunday 6th June, with the Grand Prix scheduled for Sunday 6th June.
Monaco will once again open the European section of the Formula 1 season, coming after the Canadian Grand Prix and before the returning Portuguese Grand Prix at Portimão.
There will also be a major change to the Monaco weekend in 2027, with the Principality hosting an F1 Sprint for the first time. Sprint Qualifying will take place on Friday, followed by the Sprint and Grand Prix Qualifying on Saturday before Sunday’s main race.

When is the 2027 British Grand Prix at Silverstone?
The 2027 British Grand Prix will be held at Silverstone from Friday 2nd to Sunday 4th July, with race day taking place on the Sunday.
Silverstone moves ahead of Austria on the 2027 calendar, with the British and Austrian Grands Prix forming consecutive race weekends. Britain is Round 10 of the season, following Monaco and Portugal during the opening weeks of Formula 1’s European run.
Like Monaco, Silverstone will also host a Sprint weekend. It will be the third time the British circuit has staged an F1 Sprint after previously hosting the format in 2021 and 2026.
Silverstone has been part of Formula 1 history since hosting the first World Championship Grand Prix in 1950. The current 5.891km circuit remains renowned for high-speed sections including Maggotts, Becketts and Chapel.

What has changed on the 2027 Formula 1 calendar?

Bahrain will stage the opening round from 12th to 14th March, following four days of pre-season testing at the same circuit between 24th and 27th February.
The championship is then scheduled to conclude with back-to-back Sprint weekends in Qatar and Abu Dhabi during December.
