Andoni Iraola’s Bournemouth side is going to be welcoming a Wolves side, who are currently led by their Portuguese Head Coach Vitor Pereira, to the historic Vitality Stadium during the 2025/26 Premier League season. Their first home game of the season is set to get underway on Saturday, 23rd August 2025, with kick-off scheduled for 3pm that afternoon. Victory for the Cherries on the South Coast would see them take a step closer to realising their ambitions for the current campaign, which are to secure European Football for next season through a top seven finish.

The Vitality Stadium Hospitality Dress Code
For hospitality at Bournemouth’s Vitality Stadium, the dress code is generally smart casual. That usually means:
-
Men: Collared shirts, smart trousers or chinos, optional blazer; avoid sportswear, ripped jeans, or trainers.
-
Women: Dresses, skirts, smart trousers or blouses; again, avoid casual sportswear.
-
General: No football jerseys, hoodies, or caps.
Hospitality areas aim for a polished but relaxed environment—so you don’t need a suit unless you want to go extra formal.
Bournemouth, who are currently led by their Spanish Head Coach Andoni Iraola, are set to take on Vitor Pereira’s Wolves at the iconic and historic Vitality Stadium during the 2025/26 Premier League season, with the fixture set to get played on the afternoon of Saturday 23rd August 2025 in what is their first home game of the campaign. Kick-off is at 3pm.
A victory here for the Cherries would see them move what would be a crucial step closer to them ultimately realising their ambitions for the current campaign, which are to go on and secure a top seven finish in the English Top Flight, which would indeed see them go ahead and seal a place in European Football for the very first time in the club’s history ahead of next season.
The aforementioned Andoni Iraola is, of course, the current Head Coach of Bournemouth, and he has been at the club ever since his appointment by the Cherries back on Monday, 19th June 2023. The Spaniard was the successor to Gary O’Neil, who had departed the South Coast club a short time before his arrival.
By the end of his first full season in charge in 2023/24, he was able to lead his side to a 12th place finish with what was then a record points tally in the English Top Flight for the club in its entire history, with 48 points.
This record was then beaten the following campaign, when further history was made by this club following what was an excellent 2024/25 Premier League season that saw them only narrowly miss out on a qualification for European Football for the very first time. They did break their points record in the top flight season again that term, with them this time earning a total of 56 points from their 38 games with them finishing in 9th place overall.
One of the standout results for them in the Premier League last season was that famous 2 – 1 victory against Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City at the iconic Vitality Stadium. It was a game that saw them win 2 – 1, with the Cherries scoring their goals on that day through the likes of Antoine Semenyo (9’) and Evanilson (64’), with Josko Gvardiol being the only player to score for City late on in this game to halve the deficit (82’), with the Cherries still managing to go on to win the game in the end.
Moving on to Wolves, their current Head Coach, Vitor Pereira, has been in charge of the West Midlands outfit ever since his appointment to replace Gary O’Neil in the dugout at Molineux back on Thursday, 19th December 2024, near the midway point of the 2024/25 Premier League campaign.
By the end of the 2024/25 Premier League season, he had managed to guide his new side to safety, with the Portuguese able to secure a 16th place finish with 42 points from their 38 games. The 2025/26 campaign across all competitions will be his first full season in charge of Wolves since his arrival at the club.
The last time that Bournemouth were victorious when coming up against Wolves in the Premier League was back on Saturday 30th November 2024, with the Cherries successfully coming away with a 4 – 2 victory away from home at Molineux thanks to the goals of Justin Kluivert (3’, 18’, 74’) and Milos Kerkez (8’), with the former scoring a hat-trick of penalties in this game. The goals for the hosts, Wolves, were scored by Jorgen Strand Larsen, who got his brace (5’, 69’).
Overall, Bournemouth and Wolves have met competitively in all competitions on no less than 22 occasions, and it is the Cherries who have won the most games in this fixture with 10 in total compared with Wolves’ total of 8 to date. There have also been 4 draws between these two clubs so far, as of the time of writing.
