Tottenham Hotspur Stadium NFL 2025

NFL London: Denver Broncos vs New York Jets Preview

Following the enthralling action from last weekend, the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is set to host another NFL regular season contest that will see the Denver Broncos and the New York Jets go toe to toe for the victory.

The NFL finally made it’s much anticipated return to London last weekend, with the Minnesota Vikings and the Cleveland Browns going head to head at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in a regular season contest, which saw the Vikings eventually come out on top as 21 – 17 winners in the end.

This fantastic venue is now set to host its second regular season contest in just a few days, when the Denver Broncos and the New York Jets come face to face on the afternoon of Sunday, 12th October 2025. Both of these sides will be looking to come away with a win that could prove crucial to their respective NFL campaigns this season.

Another regular-season game in London will follow this one, featuring the Broncos and the Jets, with the historic Wembley Stadium set to host a crucial clash between the Los Angeles Rams and the Jacksonville Jaguars. This game will be played under its very famous arch on the afternoon of Sunday, 19th October 2025.

In their most recent NFL game, the Denver Broncos were able to emerge with a shock victory over the Philadelphia Eagles, who are, of course, the reigning Super Bowl Champions after beating the Kansas City Chiefs 40 – 22 back in February 2025.

In this regular season contest between the Eagles and the Broncos, Denver won 21–17 at Lincoln Financial Field. This was especially remarkable as Denver overcame a 17–3 deficit to claim victory by the end of the fourth quarter.

Several players stood out for the winning side. Bo Nix, Nik Bonitto, Courtland Sutton, and J.K. Dobbins were all crucial in their team’s successful bid for victory in this game.

As for the New York Jets, their most recent game in the NFL Regular Season saw them take on the Dallas Cowboys at the MetLife Stadium. Unfortunately for the Jets, they suffered yet another defeat, losing 22 – 37 in this regular season contest against the Cowboys. They will be looking for their first win of the season against the aforementioned Broncos when they meet on Sunday.

Despite losing, there were still some standout performers for the New York Jets in their game against Dallas over the weekend. One of which is Quarterback Justin Fields, who was able to complete 283 passing yards and no fewer than 2 touchdown passes.

There is also Breece Hall, who managed 113 rushing yards, and Garrett Wilson, with the wide receiver not only being a consistent threat to their opponents, but he was also able to intercept a touchdown pass for his team in this game with the Cowboys as well.

The Broncos are currently sat second in the AFC West at the time of writing, with only the Los Angeles Charges above them, though both sides have won 3 and lost 2 of their opening 5 games of the season. Meanwhile, the Jets currently find themselves bottom of the AFC East, though they will be looking to start building some momentum with a win on Sunday.

In terms of team news, we start with the Denver Broncos. Left Guard Ben Powers remains injured following surgery on a torn left bicep following the win over the Eagles, and whilst unconfirmed, Matt Peart looks to be amongst the most likely replacements for Powers this weekend.

It would be no shock to see Courtland Sutton and Nik Bonitto start for the Broncos against the Jets, with both having strong performances in their last NFL game. The likes of Tyler Badie, D.J. Jones, and Malcolm Roach are all unlikely to play, though all have returned to practice in some capacity recently.

As for the Jets, Jermaine Johnson could return to action in some capacity against the Broncos, and hopes are high that he will be returning to practice for Thursday.

Meanwhile, Michael Carter II and Allen Lazard will not feature on Sunday, and Justin Fields and Kene Nwangwu’s involvement is in doubt, with the former having a knee injury, while the latter has had issues with his hamstring. Jamien Sherwood looks set to play.

The last time that the Denver Broncos and the New York Jets came face to face in an NFL regular season contest was back on 29th September 2024 at the MetLife Stadium, when the Jets were narrowly defeated 10 – 9 by the Broncos.

Many predict that the Broncos will come out on top against the Jets on Sunday afternoon at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, but the Jets will be looking to get what would be their maiden triumph of the current NFL campaign and prove any doubters wrong. It is set to be an intriguing and exciting game in North London this weekend.

Excitement is building ahead the more enthralling NFL regular season action in London, with the Denver Broncos and the New York Jets set to go head to head for what would be a crucial victory for both sides at the iconic Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday 12th October 2025.
