The Vitality Stadium Hospitality Dress Code
For hospitality at Bournemouth’s Vitality Stadium, the dress code is generally smart casual. That usually means:
-
Men: Collared shirts, smart trousers or chinos, optional blazer; avoid sportswear, ripped jeans, or trainers.
-
Women: Dresses, skirts, smart trousers or blouses; again, avoid casual sportswear.
-
General: No football jerseys, hoodies, or caps.
Hospitality areas aim for a polished but relaxed environment—so you don’t need a suit unless you want to go extra formal.
Bournemouth, who are currently led by their Spanish Head Coach Andoni Iraola, are going to be going toe to toe with Scott Parker’s Burnley side at the iconic Vitality Stadium on the south coast on the afternoon of Saturday 20th December 2025 in what is the final home game of the 2025 calendar year for the Cherries.
If they can accumulate all three vital points against the Clarets, then they will be able to take an important step closer to them realising their ambitions for the current campaign, which are to secure themselves some European Football for the very first time, which they can achieve via a top seven finish in the league.
The aforementioned Andoni Iraola is, of course, the current Head Coach of AFC Bournemouth, with the Spaniard having held this post ever since there was confirmation of his appointment to replace Gary O’Neil at the South Coast based club, which came back on Monday, 19th June 2023. The 2025/26 season is going to be his third full campaign in charge.
Rewind to the 2023/24 campaign, which was his first full season with the Cherries, and it was a successful one that saw his side create some history for the club. His side was able to accumulate as many as 48 points from their 38 games as they were able to finish in 12th place. The points total was their highest of any top flight season that they have ever taken part in.
Then, in the 2024/25 season, they were even better as they were able to go on to surpass the previous campaign’s efforts, with them finishing three places higher in 9th place, this time with a great points total of no less than 56 points after having fought for European Football all season. They only failed by a margin of 9 points in the end, and they will be looking to go one better this term.
Amongst the many standout results that they were able to secure last term, one of the highest profile victories that they got in the league was against Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City, who they were able to beat 2 – 1 at the Vitality Stadium in what was a well fought contest on the South Coast back on Saturday 2nd November 2024. The goal scorers in that game for the hosts were the likes of Antoine Semenyo (9’) and Evanilson (64’), whilst it was City’s Croatian defender Josko Gvardiol who was the only goal scorer for the visiting Cityzens outfit in a goal that came very late on in the second half of this game (82’).
Moving on to Burnley, the Lancashire based club is, of course, currently led by their English Head Coach Scott Parker, who has been in charge ever since he was appointed to replace Vincent Kompany in the Turf Moor dugout back on Friday, 5th July 2024. This followed Kompany’s departure for German Giants Bayern Munich.
The 2024/25 season saw Parker lead Burnley to automatic promotion to the Premier League at the first time of asking, securing second place with 100 points and only missing out on the title to Leeds United on goal difference alone. They were able to finish as many as 10 points clear of Sheffield United, who came in third.
The last time that Bournemouth faced Burnley in the Premier League was back on Sunday 3rd March 2025 at Turf Moor, with the Cherries coming away with a comfortable and well deserved 2 – 0 victory against the Clarets, with goals from the likes of Justin Kluivert (13’) and Antoine Semenyo (88’) for Bournemouth against their Lancashire counterparts.
Overall, Bournemouth and Burnley have met competitively in all competitions on no less than 36 occasions, and it is the Clarets who currently have the most victories in this fixture, with as many as 16, whilst the Cherries have 9 to their name. There have also been 11 draws between these two clubs to date, as of the time of writing.
