The Craven Cottage Hospitality Dress Code

The official hospitality guide for Fulham states a smart casual dress code applies in all hospitality zones. Denim is acceptable—smart denim only—but away colours are explicitly prohibited.

Fulham, led by their Portuguese Head Coach Marco Silva, is set to welcome Graham Potter’s West Ham United side to the iconic and historic Craven Cottage, which is located at the heart of West London, during the 2025/26 Premier League season. This match is set to take place between two local rivals, with not just victory at stake, but also bragging rights.

The Cottagers are targeting European Football after unfortunately missing out last season, and three points here will take them closer to finally realising this ambition. Should their efforts prove successful, they would secure a first season on the European stage since competing in the highly prestigious UEFA Europa League in the 2011/12 season.

In that year’s competition, Fulham had to go through as many as four qualifying rounds as they looked to successfully navigate these fixtures to secure themselves a place in the Group Stages. Then came the group stages, where, despite victories against Denmark’s Odense and a Polish outfit in the form of Wisla Krakow, both of whom were beaten 2–0 and 4–1, respectively. However, Fulham were unable to advance from their group, exiting the competition at the group stage following a 3rd place finish.

The 2021/22 season was the first full campaign in charge for Marco Silva with Fulham, with it being spent in the EFL Championship in what is English Football’s second tier. The Portuguese Head Coach managed to lead his side to the title after securing the top spot, earning automatic promotion back to the Premier League with a total of 90 points. They were also able to score no less than an extraordinary 106 goals from their 46 matches to boot.

The 2024/25 campaign was Silva’s latest full season in charge of Fulham, during which the West London club were regularly amongst the challengers for the top seven and European Football, but they fell short after having to settle for what was an 11th place finish after having got a total of 54 points from their 38 matches in the top flight. They had missed out by a margin of 11 points overall.

Moving on to West Ham, current Hammers boss Graham Potter has been in charge of the East London club ever since he was confirmed as Julen Lopetegui’s successor at the London Stadium back on 9th January 2025, with the 2025/26 campaign set to be his first full season in charge. Potter’s half season in charge saw him lead the club to safety in the Premier League, with them securing what was a 14th place finish in the English top flight after having accumulated a total of 43 points with the eventual gap between themselves and the bottom three being 16 points overall.

Overall, Fulham and West Ham United have met competitively in all competitions on a grand total of no less than 111 occasions to date, and so far it is the Hammers who have the superior record of 52 victories in this fixture compared to the Cottagers’ total of 34 wins against their East London counterparts as of the time of writing. There have also been 25 draws between these two teams so far.
