Run over a distance of one-mile it attracts some of the finest fillies and mares from the UK and beyond and is the feature event of this thrilling day of action.

In 2016 the race was taken by Alice Springs who handed Irish trainer Aidan O’Brien his second win in the race as she just held on to beat Always Smile in a thrilling renewal.
