Fast forward to 2019, and it was from 5th March and 10th March that year when England secured what is, as of the time of writing, their most recent IT20 series victory against the West Indies. They won the first contest by 4 wickets before an emphatic 137 run win in the penultimate contest. An 8 wicket success in the third IT20 of the series sealed a 3 – 0 victory for England.

The West Indies were the winners of the most recent IT20 Series in December 2023. They won the first two games by 4 wickets and 10 runs respectively, before England managed to emerge with a victory in the next two games by 7 wickets and 75 runs. However, the West Indies managed to seal a 3 – 2 series victory, winning by a margin of 4 wickets in the final game.

Overall, these two nations have gone toe to toe with each other 30 times in IT20 Cricket to date. The West Indies have the superior record of 17 victories, narrowly ahead of England with 13 wins to their name so far.
