Newmarket is unique in the sport for being home to two international racecourses, each hosting world-class flat racing throughout the racing calendar.

In addition, during the summer months of June, July and August Newmarket plays host to fabulous race days including the July meeting which provides 3 days of top class racing. This opens with Ladies' Day, a combination of high fashion and high stakes.

Eventmaters, as Official Hosptality Agents of Newmarket Racecourse are delighted to offer excellent hospitality facilities for both the Guineas Festival held on the Rowley Course and at the prestigious July Meeting which of course is held on the July Course.

The two day Guineas Festival features the opening classics of the season. The Fillies only 1000 guineas takes place on  Sunday 1st May which is the final day of the Festival. In 2010, the favourite Special Duty won following a lengthy stewards enquiry. Saturday 30th April will feature the 2000 guineas open to both Colts and Fillies which was won by the outsider Makfi in 2010.

The Feature race at the July Meeting is the Darley July Cup held on Friday, invariably it has an international feel and in 2010 saw Starspangledbanner claim an impressive victory for Aiden O'Brien.
