England Men’s 2027 international schedule confirmed with Ashes, Pakistan and New Zealand series

England Men’s full international schedule for 2027 has been confirmed, with a packed summer featuring series against Pakistan, Bangladesh, Australia and New Zealand, including a home Ashes campaign.

The schedule will begin in May when England face Pakistan in a five-match Metro Bank ODI series, starting at the Utilita Bowl on Saturday 15^th May.

The series will then visit Emirates Old Trafford, Headingley, Banks Homes Riverside and Sophia Gardens before England welcome Bangladesh to Lord’s for a one-off Rothesay Test match from Friday 28^th May.

The ICC World Test Championship Final will follow at the Kia Oval from Wednesday 9^th June to Sunday 13^th June, before England turn their attention towards a busy Ashes summer against Australia.

England Men’s Ashes schedule

The Rothesay Men’s Ashes series will begin at Trent Bridge on Friday 18^th June, with England looking to regain the urn after their next encounter with Australia.

England have won their previous three Ashes Tests at Trent Bridge, including the famous 2015 victory when Australia were dismissed for just 60 during the opening session.

The second Test will take place at Lord’s from Wednesday 30^th June, followed by the third Test at Edgbaston from Thursday 8^th July.

The Utilita Bowl will host a Men’s Ashes Test for the first time when England and Australia meet in the fourth test from Wednesday 21^st July, before the series concludes at the Kia Oval from Thursday 29^th July.

2nd Test: Lord’s – Wednesday 30 June to Sunday 4 July
3rd Test: Edgbaston – Thursday 8 July to Monday 12 July

5th Test: Kia Oval – Thursday 29 July to Monday 2 August

Ahead of the Ashes, England Lions will face Australia in a warm-up match at Emirates Old Trafford from Monday 7 June to Thursday 10 June, subject to review should Australia reach the World Test Championship Final.

England prepare for 2027 World Cup with New Zealand series

England’s summer schedule will conclude in September with a white-ball series against New Zealand as preparations continue for the 2027 ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup in southern Africa.

The two sides will meet in a three-match Vitality IT20 series before a five-match Metro Bank ODI series.

The IT20 fixtures will take place at Banks Homes Riverside, Emirates Old Trafford and Sophia Gardens, while the ODI matches will be hosted by Edgbaston, Lord’s, Seat Unique Stadium, Trent Bridge and Headingley.

“Next summer will see the men’s team play a Rothesay Ashes Test at the Utilita Bowl for the very first time, while the women’s team will play an Ashes Test at Headingley for the first time since 2001.

“We are also excited to welcome Bangladesh Men for a one-off Test at Lord’s, which will be the first time we have played them at home in a Test since 2010.
