Oasis Live ’25 Tour
Friday 25th July – Sunday 28th September 2025 – Wembley Stadium
The announcement of Oasis’ return from a 16 year hiatus brought with it global headlines and an incredibly high level of demand amongst fans for tickets for the band’s Live ’25 Reunion Tour in 2025. They are set to perform at the iconic Wembley Stadium on the 25th, 26th, and 30th July, the 2nd and 3rd August, as well as the 27th and 28th September 2025.
Oasis are one of the most popular and successful British bands of all time, and to date, they have had eight number one singles and eight number one albums in the UK. They have also so far sold more than 70 million albums worldwide, with this figure only set to grow.
On Spotify alone, they accumulate 28.6 million listens per month, with their most popular song on the platform being Wonderwall Remastered which at the moment has more than 2.1 million monthly listens followed by Don’t Look Back in Anger (918,813), Champagne Supernova Remastered (423,478), Stop Crying Your Heart Out (379,750).
Oasis’ debut album ‘Definitely Maybe’ was released back in 1994, and it soon topped the UK Albums Chart as it broke the record for the fastest-selling debut album in British History, selling 100,000 copies in the first four days, and it outsold The Three Tenors in Concert (1994) in second by no less than 50%. The record has since been beaten in 2006 by the Arctic Monkeys’ ‘Whatever People Say I Am, That’s What I’m Not’.
Further success then followed with (What’s the Story) Morning Glory in 1995, which became the best-selling album in the UK in the 1990s, selling no less than 345,000 copies in the first week of release alone, before going on to spend an incredible 10 weeks at the top of the Charts. It also did not drop out of the top three in the UK Charts for seven months. The album included iconic singles such as ‘Wonderwall’, ‘Don’t Look Back in Anger’, and Champagne Supernova’.
Fast forward to July 2002, and this saw Oasis release their fifth studio album, Heathen Chemistry which reached number 1 in the United Kingdom and number 23 in the United States. Singles on this album included ‘The Hindu Times’, ‘Stop Crying Your Heart Out’, ‘Songbird’, ‘Little by Little’, and ‘She Is Love’.
Their seventh studio album, Don’t Believe The Truth, was released back in May 2005, and two number one singles came from it, which were ‘Lyla’ and ‘The Importance of Being Idle’, and another song, ‘Let There Be Love’, entered the UK Charts at number 2. Oasis won the People’s Choice Award and the Best Album awards for ‘Don’t Believe The Truth’, which also entered the UK Albums Chart at number one. In 2013, this album reached a milestone of selling more than 6 million copies worldwide.
The band embarked on their 2005 Don’t Believe the Truth Tour, which saw them perform 62 shows in Europe, 41 shows in North America, 11 in Asia, 6 in Oceania, and 3 in South America – 123 in total. A total of 3.2 million people attended these shows overall, and this was the most live shows that the band had performed in since their Definitely Maybe Tour back from 1994 to 1995, which had 143 shows in total.
In a poll to find the fifty greatest British Albums from the last 50 years that was taken back in February 2008, two albums from Oasis, Definitely Maybe and (What’s The Story) Morning Glory? were voted in first and second place respectively.
Later that year, they released their seventh studio album ‘Dig Out Your Soul’ in October 2008 which reached number one in the UK Charts, with it also getting to number five in the Billboard 200 Chart.
On 25th February 2009, another landmark came the way of Oasis when they received the NME Award for the Best British Band for 2009. The band did unfortunately decide to split in the same year.
In the meantime, both Liam and Noel both formed new bands. Starting with Liam Gallagher, he formed Beady Eye the same year Oasis split. The band had Liam, Gem Archer, Andy Bell, Jeff Wootton, Chris Sharrock, and Jay Mehler as members. Their albums ‘Different Gear, Still Speeding’ in 2011 and BE from 2013 both reached the top five in the UK’s Albums Chart. Beady Eye disbanded in 2014.
Meanwhile, Noel Gallagher formed ‘Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds’ in 2010. It consisted of Neol, Mike Rowe, Chris Sharrock, Russell Pritchard, Gem Archer, and Jessica Greenfield. They have since released four studio albums: ‘Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds’ (2011), ‘Chasing Yesterday’ (2015), ‘Who Built the Moon’ (2017), and most recently ‘Council Skies’ in 2023.
Oasis did, of course finally reform to the delight of their fans across the globe on 27th August 2024, 15 years on from when they split in 2009. Their Oasis Live ’25 Tour is set to take the world by storm, and they will be performing at the iconic Wembley Stadium in July and August 2025.
