The Old Trafford Stadium Hospitality Dress Code

The dress code at the Old Trafford Stadium does not apply to those who are under the age of 12.  Furthermore, the club has the right to refuse entry to any visitors who disobey these rules:

  • Smart casual clothing
  • Strictly no shorts allowed
  • No sportswear is allowed
  • Smart Jeans are permitted
  • No hats or caps are allowed at the stadium
  • No tracksuits are allowed

Please be aware that oversized bags are not permitted in the stadium. This is due to the safety of others and the time wasted checking through each bag; small clutch purses are allowed and clear tote bags.

Manchester United Football Club – 2025/26 Premier League

After a 15th-place finish in the Premier League last season, Ruben Amorim’s Manchester United will want to seal their return to the top six this 2025/26 season. They are hoping to qualify for the UEFA Champions League whilst also challenging for silverware in the FA Cup and the EFL Cup (Carabao Cup). The Red Devils will know they can do so with the quality available to them in their squad.

Ruben Amorim officially took charge on 11th November. He left Portuguese Giants Sporting CP, with whom he enjoyed great success as Head Coach since being appointed by the club back in 2020. In his four years in Lisbon, Amorim led Sporting to two Primeira Liga titles (2020/21 & 2023/24) and two Taca da Liga titles (Portuguese Cup) in 2020/21 and 2021/22, whilst being runners-up in the Final in the 2022/23 season.

In a bid to surpass the 42 points they accumulated last term, United is looking to maximise the potential of players of the calibre of Rasmus Højlund, Mason Mount, Andre Onana, Alejandro Garnacho, Kobbie Mainoo, and Joshua Zirkzee to enhance their chances of improving on last season’s performance.

Manchester United Transfers:

Man United have signed former Wolves striker Matheus Cunha for a reported £62.5 million. 18 year old Paraguayan left back Diego Leon has also joined the club for a reported fee of £3.3 million, whilst forward Enzo Kana-Biyik has joined on a free transfer from French Club Le Havre. Kana-Biyik was immediately loaned out to Lausanne Sport, another club from Switzerland.

With a capacity of 76,000 seats, The Old Trafford Stadium is known as the second-largest football stadium in the United Kingdom (and the eleventh in Europe).  The stadium holds its name as Old Trafford was a crossing point over the River Irwell back in ancient times. However, due to the stadium being close to Trafford Park industrial estate, it was targeted during the air raids. The damage was so immeasurable that it took eight whole years to rebuild the stadium.

Manchester United was first formed back in 1878 under the name of ‘Newton Heath LYR’ (Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway). Until the club name changed in 1902 to ‘Manchester United’, the club adopted this name when Captain Harry Stafford found four local businessmen who were each willing to invest £500 each into the club. Captain Harry Stafford decided to mark this fresh start by naming the club ‘ Manchester United ‘due to the four men joining together.
